Heartfelt greetings to you all at the beginning of 2022. First, I would like to thank you for your support of our Mission over the past year and for all your gifts, for all the kind encounters and words of encouragement, for all the moments spent together at Mass and prayer, for EVERYTHING …! I wish you and your loved ones a better year ahead than the previous one. May we, too, be better people and Christians, may God’s peace, hope, forgiveness, and God’s Love reign in our hearts and lives over fear, hopelessness, and any evil. May the Lord God protect you, strengthen you, and bless you! I am very much looking forward to our next meetings in 2022.
PS.1/ Right at the beginning of this year, I would also like to ask you for your further help and support. Although we still have some financial reserves, the Mission’s expenses are greater than revenues, and so our finances are slowly dwindling. You will receive an overview of the past year’s finances in the next few months. This year, we expect more expenses due to necessary house repairs (replacement of rotten beams and boards in the front of the house, around a window, and on the roof), emigration fees for a work permit extension for me for another three years, and also the acquisition of a new – older car — for the needs of the Mission. I will be very grateful for any of your help. For this purpose, I would like to send you envelopes for your potential donation. Thank you very much in advance. L.
PS.2/ Notice to our friends in San Diego and the surrounding area. As of January of this year, we can no longer use our usual place (St. John’s Parish Hall) for our meetings and Mass. Our next meeting (January 16 at 4:00 p.m.) will therefore be in a new location, namely at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Polish Mission (1735 Grand Ave SD).
